Air Liquide was selected by long-time partner HTEC Hydrogen Technology and Energy Corporation for the supply of hydrogen station equipment in Quebec, Canada. This contract answers the need for hydrogen infrastructure in the region and expands on Air Liquide’s offerings in Canada.
The HTEC station will have the capacity to fuel up to 50 light-duty vehicles per day at 700 bar. Air Liquide will provide the compression, high pressure storage, hydrogen cooling, and dispensing all in a single skid. Thanks to its “all-in-one” design, this solution provides cost reductions on site infrastructure and faster installation time. The ability to do so will result in getting the end-user up and running quicker than usual turnaround time for modular solutions. The station is projected to be operational by Q2 2022.
Air Liquide has been designing hydrogen refueling stations for nearly 20 years, providing standardized or customized solutions that meet customers' needs: from design, integration, manufacturing and installation to commissioning and maintenance of the stations.
