Air Liquide’s Ole Hoefelmann named Chair of the California Fuel Cell Partnership

Ole Hoefelmann has been selected to serve as the 2019 Chair for the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP). The partnership was created for the collaboration between industry and government, Hoefelmann, as Chair, will support the CaFCP’s mission to expand the market for fuel cell electric vehicles powered by hydrogen to help create a cleaner, more energy-diverse future with no-compromises zero-emission vehicles. Joining Hoefelmann, the members of the partnership will participate on standing committees and project teams that help ensure that vehicles, stations, regulations and people are in step with each other as the technology comes to market.
Hoefelmann has been on the forefront of Air Liquide’s advancements into the hydrogen energy market. He has worked closely with the entire value chain to create the company’s current portfolio of hydrogen fuel cell energy activities in the U.S. and across North America, which also include public and private hydrogen stations. The commitment shown by Hoefelmann is reflected in the initiatives and progress of Air Liquide in the energy transition. He continues to serve as an energy advocate on all fronts.
Joining Air Liquide in August 1991, Hoefelmann has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the U.S. and Europe. He serves as President of Air Liquide Advanced Technologies U.S. LLC. and Vice President of Air Liquide Hydrogen Energy, Americas. Hoefelmann is present on the board of directors of Air Liquide Advanced Materials Inc., and Air Liquide Alizent Canada, Inc. Ole also serves as chairman of the Board for Air Liquide entity Alizent U.S.
