Air Liquide to partner Hydrogen Days in the Territories trade fair

  • Event
  • Air Liquide

TIME & PLACE

July 10, 2019 - July 11, 2019 - Palais du Pharo - 58 boulevard Charles Livon, Marseille

Air Liquide will be taking part in Hydrogen Days in the Territories, to be held at Palais du Pharo (Marseille, France) on July 10 and 11.

Air Liquide is partnering this seventh edition of the event. The company will be exhibiting a mobile hydrogen charging station, which will be used to refuel several Mirai cars presented by Toyota. On the stand, there will also be a Lego® model to help participants understand the hydrogen society as a whole, from the supply chain through to the potential applications of this fuel, which has a vital role to play in the energy transition.

Air Liquide will be involved in various round tables and presentations. Topics covered will include the role of large groups and their relationships with regional authorities, and how hydrogen is complementary to other gases in multi-energy stations (compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas and liquid nitrogen). Air Liquide has one of the few laboratories in Europe currently capable of producing analyses to regulatory standards. Consequently, the topic of shared quality standards for hydrogen, to be defined in agreement with manufacturers and legislators, features on the programme.

Hydrogen Days in the Territories will involve 40 presenters, 50 exhibitors and 400 participants, from areas that have already begun rolling out hydrogen solutions as well as those that are in the process of defining their strategies. The aims of the event are to encourage communication, create synergies, enable local authorities to join forces and identify levers and recognise barriers that remain to be eliminated.

Drop by and see us on the Air Liquide stand at Palais du Pharo.

Air Liquide’s commitment to hydrogen energy.                                                                                                                             In the past 50 years, Air Liquide has developed unique expertise enabling it to master the entire hydrogen supply chain, from production and storage to distribution and the development of applications for end users, thus contributing to the widespread use of hydrogen as a clean energy source, for mobility in particular. Air Liquide has designed and installed more than 120 stations around the world to date. Hydrogen is an alternative to meet the challenge of clean transportation and thus contributes to the improvement of air quality. Used in a fuel cell, hydrogen combines with oxygen in the air to produce electricity, emitting only water. It does not generate any pollution at the point of use: zero greenhouse gases, zero particles and zero noise. Hydrogen provides a concrete response to the challenges posed by sustainable mobility and local pollution in urban areas.
